On behalf of the Kentish Guards and Pawtuxet Rangers, I wanted to reach out and say a big, sincere THANK YOU to each of your groups for coming out to the National Muster in Newport last weekend and helping us celebrate our shared 250th anniversary! I'm sure you will agree it was a gorgeous venue and the weather couldn't have been better. The membership of both groups would also like to express our gratitude for your flexibility and enthusiasm to continue supporting the event even in spite of our sudden weather-induced changes of plans.
For our Tattoo performers- Bristol County, Plymouth, Argovia, and the Old Guard, thank you for your flexibility with the changes to the Friday plans, and thank you for sharing your music for a longer time on Saturday. I personally have received quite a bit of feedback that all of the performances were excellent (I agree!)!
To Argovia, Plymouth, and the Old Guard, thank you for making the extended trip! We hope you enjoyed your various tours and returned home safely.
Best of luck to the Young Colonials, Nutmeg, Marlborough, and Sudbury as they prepare to host their own upcoming musters.
Who knows...maybe we do this again in a few years????
Best of luck to all of you as you finish your seasons.
